With Singapore horse racing season ended last week, it seems like nothing much to do on Friday night and weekend. Since Melbourne is 3 hours ahead, I can really spend time enjoying myself at the races after entertaining my kids earlier.

Without going in details, I’ll list out the potential picks for Hong Kong – Sha Tin races 21-12-2013.

Joao MoreiraZac PurtonThe top 5 jockeys for this season are Purton, Angland, Whyte, Moreira and Doleuze. Having such a good striking rate, Purton and Moreira will be jockey to watch in every race day.

Here’s my watch list and please read my disclaimer that it is not a betting advice. Mounts by Purton and Moreira are bold so that I can refer to it easily after analyzing betting support.

Horse Racing Handicap for Hong Kong – Sha Tin 21 Dec 2013

Race 1 – 10 Yuan’s Fortune, 11 Ray of Gold

Race 2 – 4 Super Caga, 5 Medic Swordsman, 8 Winning Boy

Race 3 – 7 Tai Po Fortune

Race 4 – Open race with many potential chances. 3 Fighting Boy, 4 Multiexpress, 5 Celestial Smile, 8 – Joyful Luck.

Race 5 – 9 Spicy Siam

Race 6 – 3 Floral Man, 5 Life of Beauty, 12 Mobile King, 14 Optimization Star

Race  7 Р4 Green Manner, 7 Alpinefield

Race 8 – 1 Ultimate Winners, 2 Access Years, 4 Mr Ginger, 10 Lyric Ace

Race 9 – 1 Kabayan, 3 Both Sure, 7 Great Charm, 12 King of Household

Race 10 – 1 Liberator, 3 Business As Usual, 7 Glorious Sunday, 12 Cracker Jack

Normally, I’ll just list out all the horses that worth noting. Then, after looking at the race card, will decide which to go for.

The next location which I will cover later is Penang, Malaysia which is my home town. Basically for horse racing in Malaysia, sometimes handicapping theory might not work so well and information such as trial, track work, running style, sectional timing are not easily available.
